Auditions for the 2006 San Francisco Ethnic Dance Festival took place at the McKenna Theatre at San Francisco State University. Three of the women from Harsanari performed Sonteng/Seunggah on Sunday, January 15. Sonteng is a jaipongan dance choreographed in the 1970s by Gugum Gumbira. Achmad Farmis taught the dance to members of the Harsanari in October-December 2005, and Michael Ogi staged the dance for three women in January 2006.
